It is also said that abdominal weight is more sensitive to cinnamon's effects than other weight stored in other parts of the body. Cinnamon also contains manganese, fiber, Vitamin C, and calcium.

A Cinnamon Recipe for Diet

One recommended weight loss mixture using cinnamon is to combine cinnamon powder and honey. For this recipe, combine one teaspoon of honey (providing the antioxidants) with one half teaspoon of cinnamon powder, then boil the mixture in one cup of water. After the mixture has come to a boil, it can be filtered into another cup. The mixture is then divided into two half cup quantities to be consumed half an hour before breakfast and half an hour before going to sleep at night. By following this routine, results can start to show within one week. In fact, a dieter may lose anywhere from three to five pounds within one week without changing anything else in their diet. The combined mixture of cinnamon powder and honey will stop the body from accumulating excess fat.

Using Cinnamon on Other Foods

Due to its pleasant aroma and sweet taste, cinnamon can be added to several types of foods that can be served any time of the day. In addition to weight loss, cinnamon provides numerous health benefits, such as providing a gland stimulant, heart disease, bladder infections, or for helping upset stomachs and diarrhea.

Routine and Consistency

As with any diet, it is important to learn how to do things such as provide a healthier diet, learn how to control portions, reduce the allowance of snacks, and use self control.   • my friend told me about cinnamon - she heard it from her doctor who suggested she give the supplement a try, so I too purchased a bottle of Cinnamon 1000mg per serving plus chromium, and I'm giving it a try. I did notice after reading this article however and looking at my bottle that the supplement facts do not mention anything about it containing manganese, fiber, Vitamin C, and calcium - are these natural occurring?!
