Lessons for Life from Alice in the Wonderland

By Ahmed Shayan More Blogs by This Author

If you are a 90s kid then you must know the famous kids movie called Alice in the wonderland. I remember watching the story for the adventure of the little girl, hopping rabbit and other attention-grabbing characters. I, myself had no idea what life lesson would a movie story be conveying. Now as an adult person when I hear any dialogue from the movie I say to myself I wish I could understand that before. Now that we, the 90s kids, can go back to reading our childhood stories or watching movies to grab the lessons and the philosophy that we missed as kids.

Alice in Wonderland is not a movie that is actually merely made for kids. If you have watched it as a child watch that again. In case you have not watched it go and watch that freaking piece of art. Someone wrote an amazing piece of writing that no one should miss. We, at Content writers Pro, as writers believe in reading, watching, listening to great content. I must say that if someone does not reach out to a great piece of work the person is at loss. Grab great content in any form you get it whether it be songs lyrics, movies, books, or whatever.

Go on with us to know our favorite dialogues of the tale that we found just great.

1. We All are Mad Here

This is my favorite dialogue cum philosophy from the movie. Think of it as an adult; we all are mad here. They said more in the movie like you are entirely bonkers. But I tell you a secret; all the best people are. We all have our not-much-great side. We all have our pet-peeves and not much-presentable aspects of personality and life. When everyone on the surface seems to be perfect, these self-proclaimed deficiencies make us feel like weirdoes. But the fact is that everyone, especially the great ones, has that part of struggles and lacking in their life. These insufficiencies are universal and we all are together in this.

2. There is no use of going back to yesterday because I was a different person then

It may seem like a good idea to go back to the past to fix different aspects of your life! But things are not like that you know the consequences of something because you went through that journey. Your experiences change you. There is no point of going back to the past because you evolve with each other day.

3. Taking Risks Can Lead To Wonderful Adventures

Venture leads to adventure. You cannot achieve the smallest possible things without taking a chance in your life. All the lessons, wisdom and adventures of life come from stepping out of your comfort zone. Had Alice had not chosen to get into the rabbit she would have never experienced great wisdom.

4. Who in the world am I? Ah thats a great puzzle

This is something huge to be taken casually. The quest of self-discovery or sometimes the question of ones own existence is universal. Self-discovery is a great puzzle. In fact existential questions are discussed by many philosophers. It is such a great puzzle that no one has reached a satisfactory answer though.

5. The best way to explain it is to do it

How else can you define a thing more perfectly than by experiencing it? The best way of getting familiarity with anything in life comes from experience. That is lifes call for action.

There are many other lessons in the story that can make you ponder for hours. Watch and read those childhood stories with that adult brains of yours.
