Stomach pain when I swallow food

As of 2 days ago my stomach has been hurting when I swallow. It's really weird. The pain comes about 2 seconds after I swallow food but it doesn't happen every time I swallow food. And it's happening every so often when I am just sitting at my desk not eating....AHH! also it's sorta high stomach pain, but still very much so in my stomachy region...and it started when I ate cranberries yesterday...they were delicious...

B12 overdose

I am an 82 year old female and I have been taking a neuropathy support formula containing a lot of B12. My last blood test reveals that my B12 level is at 1684, the range limit being 940. I understand that B12 is eliminated through the urine so is this high level normal and could this cause nausea and headache? Thank you for your answer. Helene

Natural remedies for sciatica??

I've never experienced sciatic pain, but my dad sometimes has problems with it. As far as I know, he doesn't take any medication for it - which is probably good, since he already suffers from asthma, allergies, high blood pressure, etc. Anyway, I just found this page about natural sciatica remedies, and I was thinking of telling him about it: http://www.sciatica101.com/treatments/natural/natural-ways-to-sciatica-relief.html Have you tried any of these remedies, and if so, have you had any successes with them?

Headache Causes?

One thing I've heard about chronic pain conditions is that often, doctors really can't tell you what's causing them. Sometimes, there is a clear-cut answer - a condition they can point to as the culprit - but it's incredibly common to have the doctors say they can't really help you. I imagine that must be infuriating, especially if the symptomatic medicines don't help. Have any of you dealt with a chronic pain condition? If so, were you able to find a clear root cause?

What do you do about back pain?

I just read a statistic from a USA Today article that says approximately 80% of Americans will experience lower back pain in their lifetime. That's incredibly high - especially seeing as how back pain can be crippling. The cost of dealing with this (both medical costs and time off work) adds up to $50 billion annually. That's...kind of insane. I've never experienced crippling back pain, although there have definitely been times when I've been highly uncomfortable and in moderate pain. (In fact, I'm squirming uncomfortably as I write this.) I've been around people who can't even get up because they're hurting so badly, so I know the effects it can have. Have any of you dealt with back pain? Did you find out what was causing it, and how did/do you deal with it?

Advice for Relaxing Tension in the Jaw?

I don't know if it can actually be called TMJ, but I know I've had jaw pain due to stress. I think it's common for people to clench their jaws when there's tension, and doing that all the time can certainly lead to jaw pain. I've been making a conscious effort to relax my jaw, and it certainly helps. Anyone else?
