my 8 yr old daughter was itching yesterday on her head alot. so i decided to check her head . i found nits as well as lice . i right away used a over the counter solution to get rid of them... this morning i checked her again, i didnt find any lice but did find about 8 , 9 nits. i pulled them from her hair, and didnt see anything else. in her hair . she wants to go swimming in our family pool. however im not sure if i should let her yet or not ; please help me in answering this question

Lice on my cat

I caught a feral male cat, and took him to get neutered. They told me he had lice and they used frontline on him. He is still losing hair but some is growing back, he's blanket in his bed looks like he is draining. I can not touch him so I can't put anything on him. Is there anything I can put in his food that would help his skin and help him if he still has lice?

Kitten with lice

I am a volunteer at a local pet shelter. A kitten, four weeks old, has lice. I gave it a Dawn bath then a bath using a shampoo for lice treatment in cats/kittens. I also used a flea comb but the lice are not easily removed like fleas. The Vet tech said the lice shampoo was not very effective. What can I do for this little kitten to remove the lice.
