Cat had blood in urine and tongue sticking out

About a week ago I noticed one of our indoor cats having blood in her urine so I started her on amoxicillin (another cat did not use the dosage). The urine no longer has blood in it but is very dark. Her tongue always hung out a little bit but it seems extended more than usual. She normally eats dry Blue food only but I gave her an addition of a can of Fancy Feast the past few days. She purrs a lot but I am worried. We do not have much income so we have not seen a vet yet. There are 3 other cats and 2 dogs inside. It's been stressful due to extreme weather and our schedules. Should she be seen by a vet? Beth

My cat has blood in his stool

MY 18 year old male cat (Ashes) has blood in his stool and I suspect in his yearn. His last Visit to Vet was a month ago (he had his teeth pulled), I told her about the problem, they said he was in very good condition with the exception that his Thyroid was off, but she didn't advise to put him on drugs right away. .... his bowel movements are very loose almost to the point of water at times, seldom is it a formed stool. IT seems as if as soon as he eats he is voiding what he ate. He has lost weight over the last 2 years he seems to maintaining his weight now as long as I feed him when he is hungry. He is constantly licking at his anus (I presume that is cuz he is passing blood) Are all of these symptoms from the thyroid dysfunctioning or could he be in renal failure. There are times he shows he is in discomfort when walking. Other than that he has no visible lumps on his outer body. His temperament has not changed ( he is very lovable and seeks attention..he has always done this) Can you help with any suggestions, I don't have the money to do extensive blood tests....But will be glad to put him on Thyroid meds if it isn't going to break me.....As I said he is 18 years old, I don't want to prolong his life if it means he is dealing with pain on a daily basis.

Artho-IonX

Hi Dr Char, you and my Vet Dr Cole in Rio Rancho NM talked via email about my lab Brodie who had a blood coagulation issue and we wanted to make sure he could use the product. He could so I started him it's been about a week and one half maybe 2, and over the last few days he has been not wanting to eat, I've had to feed him by hand, and he is still having trouble getting up. I know this medicine takes time, I i think he is still hurting. I am seeing Dr Cole Friday regarding this but, can my 93 lb dog handle more than 1 tsp a day? should he? and does this sound like he is not getting enough of the medicine?? or something else, It's only been when he has been on the med... I trust this product, I just don't know. I'll take your answer to Dr Cole tomorrow afternoon when I take Brodie Thank you Dellen
