This is a cross between a nori make roll and a hamburger. There is no meat in the recipe but it is as savory as a burger with a healthy twist

- 1 × Sheet of toasted nori sea vegetable
- ⅓ cup cooked brown rice at room temperature
- 2 Tsp toasted sesame tahini
- ½ carrot
- 1 in. piece daikon radish
- 1 Tsp shoyu
- 1 Tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 × small bowl of water for wetting hands
You may also need:
A Pot, Kitchen Knife, Skillet
put nori sheet on clean, dry surface. wet hands and make a ball with the rice, place in center of nori sheet.
with moist hands flatten ball just a little. cut carrot and daikon into matchsticks and steam or boil until softened
drizzle rice with tahini and add carrot and daikon matchsticks, pressing down into rice.
wet hands and fold corners of nori over the center of the rice ball. The moisture of your hands will make the nori stick together and it will be like a little box.
take small skillet and heat sesame oil. Put nori burger in pan and let sit for about 45 seconds to a minute. Flip over and let sit 45 seconds. Turn off heat and add shoyu. Flip again quickly so that both sides are coated lightly with the oil and shoyu.
