B12 overdose

I am an 82 year old female and I have been taking a neuropathy support formula containing a lot of B12. My last blood test reveals that my B12 level is at 1684, the range limit being 940. I understand that B12 is eliminated through the urine so is this high level normal and could this cause nausea and headache? Thank you for your answer. Helene

Please Help!!

I have been seeing my pain management doctor for a while now. I started off taking Hydrocodone, now I am on Roxicodone. I had my appointment for refill today, and he came in, refilled my medication, and dropped me. I had been in so much pain the previous month, that I ran out of my meds a week early. The problem is, is that after I ran out of my Roxicodone, I had a few Hydrocodone left over and took some of those. Needless to say, he found the Hydrocodone in my system......so he dropped me. Now I don't know what on Earth to do! He refilled my medication for one more month, but now I have to find another doctor. I need advice from someone who has been in my position at one point in time on where to go from here. Am I going to be able to be accepted by another pain doc now that I messed this up??? And if so, are they going to be willing to help me as much as he did??? Please HELP!!!! Thank you!

Lumbosacral Syndrome in a 14-year-old cat

Hello, My 14 yr old cat, who for some time was pooping outside the box, was diagnosed (palpation of lower lumbar area and then radiograph)with this condition. The vet classified it as minor (stage 1) and believed it was causing the accidents as it would hurt to poop (crouching, pushing involved). We started a course of Metacam (0.7 ml per day-she's 14.3 lbs) and saw an improvement in her attitude and return to using the litter box. I don't want to keep her on Metacam long term, but I don't want her to return to her having accidents either. I need long term pain/arthritis control. I looked at Promaxol and Arthro-IonX. Can you recommened either for my situation? And how long would the treatment take for effects to be apparent? Thanks

Headache Causes?

One thing I've heard about chronic pain conditions is that often, doctors really can't tell you what's causing them. Sometimes, there is a clear-cut answer - a condition they can point to as the culprit - but it's incredibly common to have the doctors say they can't really help you. I imagine that must be infuriating, especially if the symptomatic medicines don't help. Have any of you dealt with a chronic pain condition? If so, were you able to find a clear root cause?

Good remedies for headaches/migraines?

Being a chronic migraine sufferer means that this is one topic I can never get enough of. Sometimes I'll get headaches three or four times a week, and it can be exhausting - especially since I'm reluctant to take too much ibuprofen. So - does anybody know any good natural remedies for headaches? What do you do when you get one?
