Anxiety Symptoms????

I have back pains, stomach pains sometimes, feel like I have skin burns, feel like I am wearing socks of needls on my legs (knee down), feel like my skin on my face is numbing. Sometimes when it gets worse i feel like I have hot blood going thru my veins, also I feel inside like my body is screaming, but when you look at me you wouldn't know something is wrong. I also feel like I have something stuck in my throat and pressure in my ears. Sometimes at night I feel chills and during the day I also fill like chills going from the lower back to the legs, that is when my anxiety is kicking in again. I have taken every test at the doctor and everything came back normal and a lot of people tell me that is based on the nervous system. Oooooh i am so tired of it :(

ADD / ADHD vs. Guilt Driven Anxiety and Depression

Does Synaptol alleviate chronic anxiety, fear, insomnia, poor concentration, lethary and inattention if taken concurrently with an MOAI like Seratonin Re-uptake Inhibitor like SERZONE and TRANXENE? I take 150 mg. and 7.5 mg respectively each night. I believe I was likely misdiagnosed in 1987 as having "Obsessive, compulsive, perfectionistic personality traits along with chronic guilt, low self-esteem and a lack of a sustaining connection with God. I was convinced I had ADD at the time (from kindergarten through high school and all my life), but my psychiatrist back then insisted the treatment for HIS diagnosis was different, i.e. taking the MOAI and anxiety meds. I turned 60 recently, have been unemployed for 22 months and am terrified of setting myself up for failure once more, so having a tough time finding work. I saw a Psychologist last week and he thinks I have ADD or ADHD. I've read the book "Driven to Distraction" by Edward M. Hallowell, M.D. and John J. Ratey, M.D., and I can virtually relate to 90% of the symptoms case studies presented. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Trish O.

Can anxietin help with the side effects of Zoloft?

Could a coach help me out? I have started on Zoloft for anxiety and have been on 50mg for nearly a week. It might have been better to have started on 25mg but I'm here now. Side effects I'm having include nausea, diahorrea, cold sweats in bed (mostly close to time due to take medication) and some increased anxiety. I have been taking some homeopathy but would like to know if Anxietin will help with these side effects too, as they are all anxiety-triggered. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm three years into Menopause. Should I take anything?

I'm 50 years old and it's been three years since I stopped my cycles. I've had very little difficulty and haven't needed to take anything. However, after doing some research for my anxiety, I really think I am way out of balance with hormones and minerals. i do take some very good whole food supplements but nothing for hormones. Any thoughts would be appreciared.

Pure Power of Will

So often we hear about the newest and most revolutionary drug that will solve all of your anxiety issues. We hear about them and tend to start analyzing whether we suffer from anxiety issues, some of us come to the conclusion that we do and absolutely need the drug, others do not. My question is this: Is there anyone out there who has conquered their anxiety by pure power of will alone? I'm not talking about worry, but a full blown panic attack. Weigh in below...

Comorbidity?

For the last few years, I've always thought that maybe my symptoms were associated with clinical depression and some sort of anxiety disorder. Now I'm thinking that perhaps I may actually have ADD/ADHD, since the symptoms I've been experiencing fit so smoothly. I've always been very obnoxious in class, though once I realize I've shouted out my opinion I get rather embarrassed and tell myself I won't do it again... Then I do. I'm always losing and forgetting things, and my room's a downright disaster zone. My teachers don't really treat me any differently than the other kids, mainly because I usually can do well enough on my own, and my mother just thinks I'm either lazy or something similar. I always feel like there's something bothering me, and often times there is, even if it's something considered "small." When I was younger, I used to have fits of anger/frustration over something as simple as not finding my pencil, and as I grew older I suppose these outward impulses became more introverted, probably explaining why I constantly blame myself for everything and have attempted suicide several times due to not being happy with myself. My question is... Is it possible to have both ADD/ADHD, severe depression, and anxiety at the same time? If so, how can I get help for not just one, but all of these? I've been through CBT and have a therapist and medication... But there are days when that's just not enough.

Can Anxiety be a GOOD thing?

I recently ran across an article that explained how a little or a lot of anxiety can be a good thing. "New research has shown that the enemy within, the scourge of my life and the lives of many others, can not only be beneficial but can help us reach the top, to succeed, even excel." Anxiety can challenge us to achieve to our potential, work well in the workplace and advance us in our careers. What is YOUR take on this? How much anxiety is a good thing? When does it become a bad thing? For more information, visit: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2072863/LIZ-JONES-Can-anxiety-GOOD-you.html

Facebook and Kids - Should you let you kids use facebook?

That is the title of an article published by fyi Living. It talks about how social networking, such as Facebook can really harm teen mental health if used extremely regularly. A professor of psychology believes that teens who constantly use Facebook "show more aggression, mania, anxiety and depression.” They believe that it gets worse as the teens age. It also brings up that Facebook depression is real and may some day be a clinical term. I've heard stories of teens bullying or gossiping using Facebook, instant messaging, and even e-mail. It really did affect the ones they targeted. The internet is just another vessel people use to communicate. It could be another vessel teens utilize for all sorts of communication and since bullying and gossiping happens in real life, it seems like it would transcend online as well. What do you think about this?
