Health Questions & Answers

My 7 yr old Yorkie has knees joint problems. The Vet has a medical term for it but he says the soclets of the knees are not deep enough to hold the ball joints. I understand this as I can move her knees and feel the joints slip out but they slip right back in. The surgery for this is a couple thous. each leg and we cannot afford it. She jumps sometimes altho we try to stop her as much as we can and she injures injures herself for several days. Is there any of your meds that you KNOW will help this? Thank You in Advance

I would suggest that you give Arthro-IonX and some basic supplements. Digestive enzymes, probiotics, and fish oil are generally important for most dogs. I would also see a veterinary chiropractor to make sure all parts are in the best alignment. That might help keep the patella on track. Please let me know how you progress.

Best wishes,
Dr. Char
