Hi Dr.Wilson my doxie has Dermatitis and the sores are raw now, they do scab over but it seems there getting bigger. I bath him with a anti fungal shampoo twice a week then put a perscribed medicine on the sores. I can't remember the name of it but it's yellow. He also has auto ammune disease on his nose and I put this yellow med. on it also. I guess I'll take him back to his vet and see why he isn't healing up.

Do you really think your product will get him over this?

Thank You, Polly

Dear Polly,

I would try Derma-IonX, which is an oral homeopathic product that stimulates the enzyme systems in the body, which reduces itching and inflammation, promotes healing of the skin, and helps with assimilation of nutritional components in diet and supplements. The supplements I use along with it include digestive enzymes, probiotics, MSM, vitamin C, and fish oil. Together with Derma-IonX it produces a synergistic effect for a faster response. It can also be used topically if there are troublesome spots on the skin. I would also suggest that you give your dog only filtered water for drinking and bathing if your water contains fluoride or chlorine. For the dietary modifications, you might want to try a grain free diet for a while.

As an anti-fungal, antibacterial shampoo, I use one by ZYMOX and then follow with their creme rinse. Please feel free to contact us again if you have any other questions. Getting over this is going to take a lot of effort on your part. If you keep us informed we can help you with more suggestions.

Best wishes,
Dr. Char
