Health Questions & Answers

My 10 year old male pomeranian was diagnosed with congestive heart failure about a month ago. He is on Water Pills, Enalapril, and Vetmedin. You would not know he has CHF except for the cought. Do you recommend anything else that might make his heart pump circulate stronger? I am worried about his possastium levels since he will be on this for the rest of his life (however long that might be). I wish you would come up with a product to make a Heart Pump Stronger. I also, have a female pom which is 10 years old (sister) which I am affraid she might have it as well. She will be taken to the vet soon. I think the father must have passed this down to them both. The 11 year old mother is fine just has arthrits which she is on Arthro-IonX, what an amazing difference that product has made. I just ordered 5 bottles. By the way, is there an expiration date for these bottles?

Thank you,

Dear Debbie,

Arthro-IonX would also help the heart because of the Arnica it contains. I also use Hawthorn tincture to strengthen the heart contraction but you would need to find a holistic veterinarian to determine the dosage for you. Co-enzyme Q10 would be good. Vetri-Science makes one for small animals. Veterinary acupuncture could be helpful as well. Please let us know how you do.
