Do you know what causes your dog to lick his paws? Allergies, injury, arthritis? Which paw or paws?

Customer: It's his left law and when I got him he had a limp due to him trying to get out of his kennel at the aspca

Response: I would give a half dose of DERMA-IONX orally twice daily on the breakfast and supper food. You can also spray some onto the sore area. It would be helpful to do this before a walk or when you can keep him from immediately licking it off. I would also give PROBIOTICS and OMEGA 3,6,9 to help heal the skin. Having been in a shelter is stressful and he could use a little building up to return his body back to normal. What kind of food and water are you giving? Please keep us updated so we can help guide you.
