Dear Dr Wilson Our little doggie, an 11-year-old, Maltese-Shih-Tzu, had Liver Cance Surgery in April of 2013. From that time on he has been only on natural therapy and has been doing good. Thank God! I came across your Probiotics and would like to change him to that, however, some of the ingredients, such as, Brewers yeast, Canola oil, Lecithin (the source?), etc, would this be suitable for him? He is on a grain-free diet, organic stuff, etc. Just want to make sure it will be okay for him. Will await your advice. Thanking you, kindly! Kind regards! Carmel

Dear Carmel,

I have been told the lecithin is from soy. Though the amounts are small and is not an issue for healthy pets, you might want to avoid it because of your situation.

Please continue to keep us updated on your progress.
