My dog had Type 2 diabetes diagnosed even though our vet indicated dogs do not suffer from Type 2 diabetes. Can you tell me whether you are seeing Type 2 diabetes, whether its occurrence is becoming more frequent, and is Dia-IonX specifically designed for Type 2 diabetes or was it intended for adjunctive use for dogs with Type 1 diabetes? Thank you.

Dear Suzanne,

The books say that dogs have mostly Type 1, but I do not agree because I have seen dogs respond well to correct dietary supplements so that would mean that it was actually Type 2.

Cats respond more easily so they are considered to have Type 2. DIA-IONX helps with the symptoms of either type of diabetes. In addition I also like to give PROBIOTICS and OMEGA 3,6,9 to support the body.

Best regards,
