I have a 4 years old Great Dane. It seems that his left rear knee ACL is torn almost 50%. Is there any other way to help him than the surgery?

Dear Anisoara,

I would try Arthro-IonX to provide the necessary co- factors that support connective tissue healing.

You might also consider a good quality commercially prepared raw food diet. In addition check with your regular veterinarian about a knee support which can help prevent further injury while it is healing. I also like PEMF therapy to increase the circulation to areas that need more stimulation to heal. Professional athletes use this to get back into the game faster after injuries.

Best wishes,
Dr Char
