I just started my cat on Pet Bounce yesterday, because she seemed not to be able to stay comfortable. Now she is more quiet then usual. I did see that Pet Bounce has alcohol in it. If I do decide to change to Arthro-IonX is it ok to switch now. My cat is 15. Maybe I might have given her more than 5 drops, would that make her less talkative, usually she talks persistently. I have been giving her massages every morning before starting her on Pet Bounce and she seems to want that as much as she can get. Please advise. Please take into consideration I live on meager finances. How long does one bottle of Arthro-IonX last?

Dear Bridget,

It is safe to switch to Arthro-IonX, and it well accepted because it does not contain alcohol. If the dose of 10 drops twice daily works for your kitty and you do not need to use 30 drops as suggested on the label. The bottle would last 70 days. Each individual is different and I am assuming your kitty is on the smaller size, so that is why I would start with the lesser dose. After the introductory phase if the stool is looking good, you could increase it to 15 drops twice a day with meals if you thought that dosage was better. After maximum healing has occurred, then some owners drop it back down to a low maintenance dose. If you had to use a higher dose the bottle will last a little over a month. Please let us know how you do.

Best wishes,
Dr. Char
