My dog is Chihuahua/Jack Russel Tterrier mix about 18-20 lbs. He is supposedly allergic to pollen and fleas, he has no feas. I now treat him every 3 weeks with advantage and use flea comb to check daily. He lives with cats inside. Dr. had him on steroids to treat for 3 years but now will not continue, blood work was fine in February. I give 1/2 Benadryl every 8 hours, little relief, he eats good quality dog food and I change it all the time to see if it helps, it does not. Think your product could help or not?

Dear Mika,

DERMA-IONX is helpful for many skin conditions. It is an oral homeopathic product which stimulates the enzyme systems in the body that aids the skin and helps with assimilation of nutritional components in diet and supplements. What sets it apart from most homeopathics is that it is in an oligotherapeutic mineral base which has had a charge added to it.

Initially I would give a half dose of DERMA-IONX on the breakfast and supper food. After there are signs of improvement you can give a whole dose once a day. I would also give Probiotics to aid the immune system. OMEGA 3,6,9 is also helpful in soothing irritated skin and improves coat quality.

Diet can also influence the skin. What do you feed your dog? Sometimes the flavor even makes a difference.

Have you had a stool sample tested for parasites recently?

Best regards,

Dr. Char www.vetionx.com
