Health Questions & Answers

I have a golden retriever who is 8 years old male and his skin is pretty sensitive and has allergies. Lately, his allergies were in control but after starting to use Anthro-IonX for more than a week in 3.75ml does according to his weight, his skin started having red rashes which was not normal. We are sure it is not due to any food he ate as he is in strick diet and have been on non-allergic foods. Did you have this side effect before from any dog owner? I am planning to stop the drug today to see if this helps reducing the rashes. Would appreciate it you could get back to me asap. Regards, Ela

Dear Ela,

It is unlikely that your dog is allergic to Arthro-IonX itself, but it can stimulate the body to detoxify old stuff that was deposited in the tissues. We usually suggest that you stop giving the product until everything is back to normal and then start up again at a low dose and gradually increase it. When you start again give 5 drops a day. Gradually increase by one drop a day until you reach the full dose.

Please keep us updated so we know how he is doing. Thanks.

Best regards,

Dr. Char
