My dog has really bad skin allergies she has been tested. She has been on Royal Canin hypoallergenic food since she was a puppy. After she got tested the vet put her on AllerPaws and it seems ever since then her skin has not been the same. The doctor told me that I have to give it at least 9 months before I see a difference. I am very frustrated with the whole situation. I just place an order for Derma-IonX. I don't know what else to do?

Dear Stacy,

I would try DERMA-IONX to aid the allergies and skin. In addition PROBIOTICS and OMEGA 3,6,9 work well with it. Improving the gut flora is essential in dealing with allergies. Try to avoid giving water that contains chlorine or fluoride which is damaging to the good intestinal bacteria. Omega 3,6,9 can help reduce inflammation in the body.

I also recommend consulting with a veterinary chiropractor. That can help with allergies, too.

Please let us know how you do and we can offer you more suggestions based upon your dog's response.

Best regards,

Dr. Char www.vetionx.com
