My dog is 14 1/2 Labrador. He is healthy in many ways but his legs are giving out. He is on Rimadyl and Tramadol but still he is struggling. It may be time to give up, but I don't want to if there is anything that can help. But if there is anything out there I will try it, but don't want something for dogs that are in the beginning stages. Copper has extreme trouble lying down

Dear Paula,

You may use ARTHRO-IONX or PROMAXOL to help with symptoms. I usually start with PROMAXOl but you can start with either.

To dose the homeopathic I would split the dose and give a half dose with breakfast and a half dose with supper. You can give another two half doses through out the day if you need to. In addition I would give PROBIOTICS, vitamin C, OMEGA 3,6,9 and MSM. What kind of water and food do you give your dog? These can influence joint health too.

Getting a harness with handles can be helpful in assisting getting up or doing stairs. I would recommend having a veterinary chiropractor check your dog. It often improves movement. Acupuncture can also be helpful.

Please let us know how you do.

Best wishes,
