I have a 15 yr old border collie mix that has severe hip arthritis. he takes 75 mg deracoxib a day(divided doses)...supplements are cosequin ds plus msm daily and 2 geri-form tablets daily(divided doses). Would your arthritis formula be compatiable with his pain med. which I believe is an NSAID. He has been on the med. about 4 yrs and I think he may be having stomach issues from time to time. The vet seems reluctant in uping dosage of pain med and I know it can cause stomach issues. I do give it to him with food. He can still get up and down but very labored and walking is the same way. At this stage of his life is there any vetionx product that might be able to help him in conjuction with what I am already giving him. He has no incontinence problems at this time and is alert but I have been having talks with my vet if time is getting close to put him down. In your opinion at this stage of his life would the arthritis formula be of any help to him? Thank you for your help.
