We adopted a dog in January with severe separation anxiety....drugs are not helping, in fact I think she is getting worse. She is eating furniture, windows, screens, etc. What impact will your product have and how quickly?

Dear Dawn,

ANXIETREX might help your dog with separation anxiety. It can be added to the food or water bowl for a few weeks. If added to the food I would start with a half dose twice daily for a week, then a whole dose once daily for another week, and and then as necessary. I would also give a CHILL-OUT CHEW before leaving in the morning until she becomes more comfortable with your leaving. Some dogs find it relaxing to listen to classical music when they are alone, so that could be another thing to try along with the above. In addition I would also give PROBIOTICS and OMEGA 3,6,9 with meals. Better gut health can positively affect behavior. Diet can also play a role too. What do you feed your dog and give as treats? Does your dog go to class or have structured time with you? It is hard to predict how your dog will respond but if you keep us updated we can help guide you.
