We have a 7 month male cross between a border collie and black mouth cur. Notice this morning scabby patches behind both his ears about the size of a golf ball. It is tender to the touch. His health seems good otherwise. Any idea what it might be? Thanks

Dear Mark,

Some possibilities are mites, ear infection, fleas. It would be wise to see your veterinarian as soon as possible to find out what is causing this. If you provide us with a diagnosis we can suggest some holistic options.
