Hello, My elderly dog is on Denamarin and Budesonide. He was prescribed a pain medication (Tramadol), but the side effects are terrible. Is this product ok to give him?

It is a safer option to use the homeopathics PROMAXOL or ARTHRO-IONX along with the other medications. Homeopathics can help with pain and inflammation without the side effects. I would also use PROBIOTICS and OMEGA 3,6,9 to rebalance the body from the side effects of the drugs.

What kind of food and water do you give your dog? These can influence your dog's comfort level.

Filtered water is good. If your dog tends to be warm feeding cooling proteins is helpful. If your dog is cool seeking warm places then feeding warming foods is helpful. Cooling proteins are fish and turkey. Beef is neutral. Chicken, lamb, and venison are warming. If there is a food sensitivity to a particular food do not use it.

You might want to try OMEGA 3,6,9 from Vetionx since it is a blend of good oils. Probiotics are important in improving digestion which will help decrease stress on the kidneys.
