Hi - I have a horse recently diagnosed with a mild to low moderate case of low ringbone. Which product would be best to help him with pain (Pomaxol or Artho-IonX)? Also, can I put the product in his beet pulp mush?

Dear Rachel,

Either product can be helpful. Both decrease pain and inflammation and stimulate healing. I usually start with PROMAXOL because it has the additional LM potencies. Then when I see change I switch to ARTHRO-IONX. It is OK to add the homeopathic on top of the mash.

I also recommend acupuncture along with homeopathy. Having a veterinary chiropractic consultation might also be beneficial as well. Having the spine in proper alignment can lessen the impact on the limbs.

Please let us know how you do.

Best regards,
