My Golden Retreiver has been given 2 bottle of Promaxol for the past 2 month It has help alot with the pain. He seem to have more energy. When is at the dog park he can gallop fast but he still limps when he walks. I have a feeling it could be in his shoulder. They want us to spend 1800 dollars on A MRI Who knows how much it will be if he has surgery and they want cut off his leg. I just want to do it the holistic way and feed him salmon oil glucosimine msm and your product just to keep him comfortable. What do you think I should do next?

Dear David,

Since you have seen some improvement you could give a half dose of ARTHRO-IONX with breakfast and a half dose of PROMAXOL at supper. The supplements you mentioned would be good, and especially the Probiotics and Omega 3,6,9. What food and treats do you give? Does your dog usually seem to be warm or cool?

Have you been able to find a a certified veterinary chiropractor? Acupuncture can be helpful as well. I like both modalities and they sometimes work better than surgery. I would look into these before considering surgery. Looking forward to your response.

Best wishes,

Dr. Char www.vetionx.com
