I have a 6-year-old Malamute who may have just injured his cruciate. I've had it happen to Malamutes I've owned in the past.

I am absolutely opposed to TPLO. I'm even opposed to getting a drawer test done due to the possibility of causing additional damage.

Would Arthro or Promaxal be an effective alternative to surgery? I know that if the ligament is torn that his joint will slowly deteriorate, so I was hoping that one of these products might help prevent that.

I am also adding glucosamine and chondroitin supplements and I have just switched him over to Stella and Chewy's raw-coated kibble to give him some of the advantages of raw.

Thank you for your time.
