Hello, last August my cat started to experience ataxia, head tilt to right, going in circles and falling down. All lab work was normal. Can't afford further test (MRI/CT). We think it could be a possible pituitary tumor. He is taking Prednisone 5 mg daily to treat the inflammation and for palliative care. I know this will not last forever and the symptoms will return and get worse. Tonight is the night that the symptoms return, except he is drooling profusely. I was wondering if there is something I can give him to reduce these symptoms and provide more comfort for him. Thank you for your advice.

Dear Julie,

TRAVEL CHEWS might help with the symptoms of ataxia. Sometimes steroids can diminish the full effect of the homeopathic so it is important to give the homeopathic at a time away from dosing the steroid. In addition I would also give PROBIOTICS to improve the gut flora and improve digestion. OMEGA 3,6,9 can reduce inflammation and improve comfort. If possible I would feed grain free and try to limit carbohydrates. A high fat diet can be beneficial if there is a tumor in the brain.

Please let us know how you do.

Best regards,
