Health Questions & Answers

My wonderful Pomeranian was diagnosed with diabetes several years ago...his eyesight had already been affected, although he does have some vision. His eyes are obviously "clouded". We administer two shots daily, 8 IU's in the morning after he eats and 8 IU's in the evening after he eats. He still has problems occasionally with excessive urination. Is there any possibility that your product Dia-IonX will reverse or make his condition stable? He is a, playful, and still demanding of "his" time but when he becomes hungry he becomes frenetic.

Your response will be appreciated.

Dear Gail,

Dia-IonX would be a good product to help your dog. It helps to cleanse cells in the body and acts as a catalyst for the enzyme systems in the body which can stimulate healing. Our goal is to get the diabetes regulated well so that you minimize complications involving eyes and kidneys. Owners also appreciate a reduction in symptoms such as thirst and urination. In addition to Dia-IonX, I find it helpful to incorporate a whole body approach. It helps to feed a diet approved for diabetes and to give digestive enzymes with meals, and a probiotic and a high quality fish oil daily. It is also important to have a regular moderate exercise schedule because it helps glucose to enter into the cells. With time you may be able to adjust the insulin dose, so you will need to keep in contact with your veterinarian so he or she can guide you. It is more dangerous to have the blood glucose level drop too low than to have it slightly high. You need to be observant of changes in behavior so you can call your veterinarian in a timely manner.

I hope we can make a positive difference in your life and that of your little Pomeranian. They are such sweet dogs and I know you will do your best to help him. Please keep us informed of your progress and if we can help you any further.

Best wishes,
Dr. Char
