For a week my dog has had trouble climbing onto places he used to go easily,and he sometimes lays with his leg extended outward. Can he be helped?

Dear Ronald,

I think you should see your veterinarian to get a diagnosis. The problem could be in the back, hip, or knee. PROMAXOL usually gives relief from pain and stiffness but if we knew where the problem lies we could give you more suggestions the target area. An X-ray could provide more information. Veterinary chiropractic or acupuncture are also valuable treatments depending upon the condition.
