I am considering Derma-IonX for my King Charles Cav Spaniel who has dermatitis (caused by allergic reaction to flea bites, fleas are gone and he is left with nasty itchy patches). My concern is that we have one common water bowl, and my cat who does not have any issues also drinks from it. Will it potentially harm her? -Joyce-

Dear Joycee,

It would not hurt your cat, but I prefer to add it to a little food for the pet that needs it so that you will know whether the entire dose was consumed. If added to the water some of it gets thrown away when changing the water. Sometimes I dilute the dose with a little water and syringe into the mouth.

Best regards,
