Dear Bertha,

If there is an infection or underlying disease such as pancreatitis or an autoimmune condition the disease needs to be treated. Some treatment options are tetracycline, niacinamide, cyclosporine, prednisone, and tacrolimus. If the cause is not determined Vitamin E and supplements are sometimes used. If there is a single lesion surgical excision might be done.

I would try to improve the skin by using the homeopathic DERMA-IONX, PROBIOTICS, and OMEGA 3,6,9. Diet and water also influence the skin. What does your dog consume?

Best regards,

Dr. Char www.vetionx.com
