Health Questions & Answers

After months of great health, natural Arks Joint Rescue and yeast and garlic supplements for almost 2 years Beneful healthy weight. After 3 days from a hike on Christmas, my 13 year old mutt’s breath got worse, bumps worse, and weight loss, so I gave her to my dad to take her to an old vet he uses and Lexi has been to a lot. He just gave dad expensive joint supplements, Medcam 45 cc (I guess!) squirt for inflammation reduction when needed. she isn’t reacting well at all to the squirts; I have only given her two. The vet said she was healthy and her bumps were nothing, but just to watch them. Am I being over reactive to these changes? She doesn't want to do a lot, which is not her. I won’t have that!!! hehehehe. I did homeopathic, holistic remedies on my Weimaraner and it worked. I want to totally switch again. Can you help advise me into a direction that seems like she could be happy at least, and me?!

Dear Kathryn,

I would suggest you try our Arthro-IonX which helps with pain and inflammation. It cleanses the cells so it can improve other areas of the body besides joints. At thirteen, other problems could be developing so it wise to take a whole body approach. For older dogs I think it is beneficial to give digestive enzymes, probiotics, and a high quality fish oil. Together with Arthro-IonX it acts synergistically and can produce faster results. Please let us know how you do.

Best wishes,
Dr. Char
