Hello My dog has recently been diagnosed with OCD ( Osteo Chondritis Dissecans) I understand it is a problem with the joints when they grow too fast as puppy's. I have been reading about it and I have read that it can heal on its own with a lot of rest and anti-inflanatory's and some other technical products. I have an appointment with a specialist soon and the vet (and I am sure the specialist will) seem to want me to get him to have the surgery to fix it. I am wondering if your product Anthro-IonX would help in the natural healing of what he has or if my best option is the surgery. I really would like to try the natural way not only because they charge a fortune for surgery but I don't like the idea of my dog being on anesthetic yet again as he was when he was neutered, I know it isn't good for them. I am just searching for some more info on how to heal OCD before I go in to the specialist and they try and tell me surgery is the only way.

Dear Tiona,

I would try our homeopathic product Promaxol because it contains some of the remedies used for OCD. In addition I would give a joint formula such as Arthroplex by Thorne Research. In addition I like to use my basic supplement protocol of Canine Probiotics and Omega 3,6,9 which is good for the whole body. Promaxol will help the body to better utilize all of it. If you can wait it out for 6 weeks it might improve. Sometimes with rest the condition improves. It probably makes a difference in how severe it is to start with. Please let us know what happens.

Best regards,
