My Chihuahua mix has been diagnosed with Cushings and Diabetes. I am giving her Vetoryl 30 mgs and it made the Cushings better, but after 30 days the next test showed Diabetes. I am probably going to start her on insulin. Can I give her the Dia-IonX, Vetoryl and insulin at the same time? Do you have any products for Cushings? Thank you. Debbie

Dear Debbie,

For Cushings I have used Dia-IonX and Phophatidyl serine. In addition it is helpful to give digestive enzymes with each meal, MSM, probiotics, vitamin C, and fish oil. The oligotherapeutic mineral base found in the IONX products helps the body to better utilize the other nutritional substances given for a synergistic response and faster healing. Also be sure to give sufficient fresh water that is free of chlorine and fluoride. The other thing that is sometimes beneficial is to have a certified veterinary chiropractor check for spinal alignment and make any corrections as necessary.

Please let us know how you progress or if you have any other questions.

Best wishes,

Dr. Char
