My dog was jumping off the couches and I believe injured his hip or knee. I can't tell. But he cannot urinate or use #2 because he can't lift up his leg. It's been 3 days now and what should I do to relieve his pain?

Dear Lynne,

It would be helpful to take your dog to see your veterinarian to determine the source of the problem and to help your dog eliminate. They will probably prescribe steroids to reduce the inflammation which will make him more comfortable. I would also get PROMAXOL for the pain so that you can reduce the amount of steroids that will need to be given. I would also suggest seeing a veterinary chiropractor or acupuncturist which can shorten the recovery time if there is a low back or SI joint problem.

In addition I would also give probiotics and Omega 3,6,9 to support the body. These products are also on the Vetionx website. Please let us know what you find out so we can suggest other things that can help recovery and reduce the likelihood of re-occurence.

Best regards,
