Dear Karl,

I am sorry your dog is getting weaker. How is your dog's heart and joints? Both of these areas are at risk in advanced age.

If a condition is severe I start with PROMAXOL and then switch over to ARTHRO-IONX for maintenance. For either one, initially I give a half dose twice daily on the breakfast and supper meals. If you need to you can give one or two additional half doses as needed. With improvement I switch to a whole dose once a day.

I would also give PROBIOTICS and OMEGA 3,6,9 to strengthen the body and reduce inflammation. What kind of food, supplements, and water are you giving? These factors make a difference.

It might be helpful to have your dog evaluated by a veterinary chiropractor. Proper alignment of the hips makes a positive difference in better movement. Acupuncture can also help.

If your dog needs assistance in getting up and down, or managing the stairs a harness with a handle is invaluable. It can help protect both you and your dog.

Looking forward to your reply regarding the above questions.

Best wishes,

Dr. Char www.vetionx.com
