Health Questions & Answers

HI - my cat is about 10 yrs old, I've been noticing that on her back-end (where she can't reach) is where I'm seeing dander maybe from dry skin? Would like to know how to treat.

Thank you

Derma-IonX, which is an oral homeopathic product, stimulates the enzyme systems in the body, which promotes healing of the skin and helps with assimilation of nutritional components in diet and supplements. The supplements I use along with it include digestive enzymes, probiotics, and fish oil. Together with Derma-IonX, it produces a synergistic effect for a faster response. It can also be used topically if there are troublesome spots on the skin. I would also suggest that you give your cat only filtered water for drinking and bathing if your water contains chlorine or fluoride. In case if there is arthritis or pain in trying to reach this spot for grooming, you could lightly brush and wipe this spot with a damp washcloth to remove excess hair and dander. Please let us know how you do or if you have any other questions.

Best wishes,
Dr. Char
