I have a 17 year old cat with arthritis and mega colon. He is on cisapride 2x per day, to help his bowel movements. Which is working. However I was wondering if there is a formula that you currently have that will help with this apparently fairly common issue in cats. My cat did fine up until about 2 years ago when a chiropractor messed up his spine, the area that controls the pushing the fecal matter through the intestines. I currently have my cat on Arthro-IonX and Promaxol which has made a world of difference for him. Thanks for making this product available! Looking forward to your answers, Marcella

Dear Marcella,

There are a few things that you could try. The homeopathic ANXIETREX contains remedies that can affect the bowel. I would start with a half dose once a day given at a different time than when you give the other homeopathics. I would also give PROBIOTICS and OMEGA 3,6,9 which can help the stool to pass. You might look for another product called Feline Cholodin which can help nourish the nerves.

ANXIETREX, PROBIOTICS, and OMEGA 3,6,9 are available from Vetionx. Please let us know how you do.

Best regards,
