Dear Kathleen,

Dia-IonX is good for diabetic cats. However, if you are currently giving insulin you must continue to do so. With time you may be able to decrease the insulin dosage so you need to be watchful of signs that you are giving too much insulin. It is more dangerous to drop the blood glucose too low than to have it slightly high. Dia-IonX is a good product because it helps with the symptoms of diabetes and improves cellular re-hydration and detoxification. It stimulates healing. In addition to Dia-IonX, you can facilitate quicker healing if you feed a canned food approved for diabetes; give digestive enzymes with meals, probiotics, and a high quality fish oil daily. Please keep us informed of your progress. We look forward to helping improve the quality of life for you and your cat.

Best wishes,
Dr. Char
