Health Questions & Answers

We have been using Arthro-Ionx for the last two years for our Yorkie, Khloe...a miracle cure until several weeks ago when she started yelping again (due I'm pretty sure to our cold weather). I called Vetoinx and was told we could start giving it to her two times a day which we have and it seems to be working. I just noticed Promaxol on your website today. Should we be giving her both products to control her pain and symptoms or just wait and see? She will be 10 years old in April and we want her around for a long time. Thanks for your help.

Dear Gail,

You can't overdose the homeopathic. If you give more than the intestines can absorb you might soften the stool. I prefer to give small frequent doses. You can give 4 half doses if you need to. I would switch to grain free food. The protein I would choose would be chicken, lamb, or beef if your dog has been cold, seeking warm places. However if your dog is allergic to a certain one do not feed it. According to Chinese food therapy chicken and lamb are more warming than fish or turkey. If you decide to switch foods do so gradually over a couple of weeks.

Best regards,
