Hello, my name is Anne and my dog's name is Ginger, a female Pomeranian, weight 7-8 lbs, age 17. We adopted our sweet Ginger from a shelter when she was about 8 months old. She is going blind (or is already blind), is experiencing hearing loss and almost all her teeth are gone, with only her canine left. Also she may be experiencing joint pain. She sleeps most of the day. She doesn't play much anymore, but can still take walks. What can I do to improve the quality of her life at her age. I believe she is in pain.

Dear Jane,

I would try PROMAXOL to reduce the pain and help healing to begin. PROMAXOL contains the stronger LM potencies. After improvement is seen then you can switch over to ARTHRO-IONX. In addition it is helpful to give Probiotics with each meal and Omega 3,6,9, daily. The oligotherapeutic mineral base found in the IONX products helps the body to better utilize the nutritional substances given for a synergistic response. Also be sure to give sufficient fresh water that is free of chlorine and fluoride. For her diet soft canned food would be easier to eat because of the dental issues.

The other thing that is sometimes beneficial is to have a certified veterinary chiropractor check for spinal alignment and make any corrections as necessary.

Please let us know how you progress or if you have any other questions.

Best wishes,
