My vet says my 12 year old lab has a weak right hind leg. She said it was due to age and gave us 10mg Ramipril to take as needed to control pain and inflamation. Would Arthro-IonX be safe and helpful. He takes canine welactin with 1450mg omega and cosequin DS daily. He slipped in the snow the other day while running and has been favoring his leg more than usual. Thank you Alan

Dear Alan,

ARTHRO-IONX would be safer for your dog especially since he is a lab. The Labrador is one of the breeds that have more more severe side effects from Rimadyl, even death. In addition to what you are giving I would also use PROBIOTICS.

What are you feeding and what kind of water and treats do you give? Does he seek cool or warm places?

If you can find a veterinary chiropractor that would be helpful as well.

Best regards,

Dr. Char www.vetionx.com
