Our 6mth old Kitten fell in our salt walter pool last night. I throughly dried her with a towel. Today she has been rolling around on the tile and the carpet as though she is trying to reach some unreacable itch. When we pat and rub her it seems to help and not long after we stop she goes back to rolling around. My question is; Could the salt water from the pool be causing her some skin discomfort and should I take her to the vet or is there something I should by that would help? Her coat is very shiny and clean, but my feeling is that she something is bothering her skin. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

I hope that you rinsed her off before drying. If you did do that and she is still itching then I would take her to your veterinarian to have her checked over.
