For the past several months my Yorkie has been on Arthro-Ionx with great success and is off ALL of her meds. My daughter's toy poodle (Tobie) was very recently diagnosed with Intervertebral disk disease via an x-ray (per Radiologist reading). Since the vet has prescribed Tramadol and Metacam for Tobie, which is the same meds my Khloe was on, I want my daughter to try the Arthro-Ionx on Tobie and wean him off of the two meds. Do you believe trying Arthro-Ionx for Tobie is worth a try? Thanks so much!!

Dear Gail,

I think Arthro-IonX should be helpful because it helps to decrease pain and inflammation. As improvement is seen then your daughter can discuss with her veterinarian about reducing the dosage of the prescription drugs. I would also recommend a consultation with a veterinary chiropractor and acupuncturist. Acupuncture can yield very good results in cases of IVD.

Best regards,
