My 18 months PIT BULL always get very tired each time we walk for 45 mins, 50mins, or 60mins. I am wondering if Pit Bulls don't walk for long period of time. Please help me.

Dear Diana,

There are other factors that might influence the length of time. If it is hot outside, the dog is thirsty, or if he is out of shape it would make a walk more difficult. One should start with a short walk and gradually increase the length. You should also have your veterinarian check for any painful joints, do a heartworm check, do some bloodwork, and check the heart to make sure there is not an underlying health issue.

Please let us know what you find out and we can offer you some holistic options.

Best regards,
