my senior dog has a lot of things going on but for this issue has arthritis and inflammation in her wrists and legs. She has had a limp for a long time and Dr prescribed Tramadol. She had a fall on her bad leg ending up in a worse limp and pain. I ordered the Arthro-Ionx and the Promaxol which arrived couple days ago. I have started her on the Promaxol critcal dose first for the pain and it does seem to helping but of course she still has the limp. Should I give her the Promaxol along with the Arthro? It appears that the ingredients are the same or are the potencies for the healing process higher in the Arthro-Ionx? Also is it ok to put in broth or food as she doesn't drink much water. Thanks

Good Day!

Sorry to hear about your senior dog having some arthritis issues. I would like to answer your questions for you, I listed your questions below and then put my answers after each one;

Should I give her the Promaxol along with the Arthro? Yes, and I am glad to read that you have already started your dog on the Promaxol. You should give one in the morning (preferably the Promaxol) and the other in the evening (Arthro-Ionx). Once you continue to see improvements in your dog, you can gradually wean her off the Promaxol and just continue using the Arthro-Ionx, however if at any point you she is struggling with her pain, then get her back on the Promaxol.

It appears that the ingredients are the same or are the potencies for the healing process higher in the Arthro-Ionx? The ingredients are very similar, however the Promaxol is stronger and has a higher potency.

Also is it ok to put in broth or food as she doesn't drink much water. This is a FANTASTIC way to give it to your pet, just make sure you are not using any type of stainless steel or metal bowls.

Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns. We are always happy to answer any questions you have in regards to them.

Keep us posted on how your dog is feeling, remember it takes about 8 weeks to really see the positive affects from using these products.
