Health Questions & Answers

Dear Dr. Char,

I am interested in the Arthro-IonX product for my 11 year old Golden Retriever Willard. He has severe hip dysplasia. He is not a candidate for surgery because he still walks and runs quite well and the vet does not want to expose Willard to the risks of the hip surgery. The specialists are surprised that he can walk or run at all. but believe that he has learned to compensate for his hip dysplasia. We learned all of this about four years ago when we took him to many specialists.

He also has borderline high kidney enzymes and I am not able to give him NSAIDs. To date, I have been treating him with Young Living Essential oils, Omega oils, a homeopathic pain killer called Zeal, and antioxidants - all under the direction of veterinarians. He seems to need more though as I can see he is in pain when he sits down.

Given Willard's history, do you think Arthro-IonX will help Willard's pain? Also would the product mix safely with the other products I am giving him?

Thank you.
Karen B.

Dear Karen,

p>It would be safe to give Willard Arthro-IonX with the rest of the other supplements you are giving. Arthro-IonX is an organic complex which has helped many pets with pain and inflammation because it helps to cleanse and hydrate the cells. You may find that the Zeel may not be needed after a bit. Please let us know how you progress and we would be happy to answer any other questions or offer other suggestions if there is anything more that needs to be addressed.,/p>

Best wishes,
Dr. Char
