Health Questions & Answers

I have a bulldog that is losing his hair on his sides. The vet said it was his allergies and he is scratching that area too much. I am giving him over-the-counter allergy medicine, but I do not see an improvement in regards to the hair going back. I was wondering if any of your products would help. The area is not red or dry and there are not scabs, just not hair.

Dear Amanda,

Derma-IonX would be a good product for your dog. It helps to relieve symptoms of itchy skin by helping to cleanse and hydrate the cells. The homeopathic ingredients also help to re-balance the body and stimulate healing. If we can get him to leave the area alone by making the skin more comfortable, then the hair can begin to regrow.

In addition to Derma-IonX, it is also helpful to give digestive enzymes with each meal, and a probiotic and a fish oil supplement daily. Derma-IonX will aid the body to better utilize the other supplements. Together it has a synergistic effect to provide faster results.

Please let us know how you progress and if you have any further questions.

Best wishes,
Dr. Char
