As a registered nurse, I am interested in how the H20 product addresses dehydration? My cat is 20 years old and is just now experiencing renal problems w/dehydration a huge component. I am giving him IV..LR 59-75 cc daily and hope this med i have ordered can help him. He needs to detox and to hydrate...when I bolus him he acts like his old self...so I am hoping the med I ordered will support rehydration for him...???

Dear Cynthia,

H2O-IonX is formulated to help with cellular hydration and detoxification. For elderly cats, I encourage consumption of wet food. If you can get him to take digestive enzymes, probiotics, and fish oil, these will all help protect his kidneys. We would really like to hear from you in the near future to let us know how you are doing. If he is resistant to any of it let us know and maybe we can figure out a solution.

Best wishes,
